About

I'm Kale (that's me on the right).
About six years ago I lost the stock lever off my Fox Float rear shock mid-ride. Went looking for a replacement and couldn't find one I liked — the stock Fox lever is tiny, flat, and clearly not designed to be adjusted while actually riding. So I designed my own that weekend.
I 3D printed the first version on a hobby printer just to prove the concept worked, then rode it, iterated, rode it again. Six years of riding the same base design tells you a lot. The current production version is made with an industrial manufacturing process — the same category used for aerospace and automotive parts — not hobby printer plastic.
I'm a mechanical engineer with an aerospace background and I've been riding trails for 13 years. Every Saurus product started because I had a problem on my own bike that I wanted to fix. If it doesn't make riding better in a meaningful way, I don't build it.
Saurus is just me, shipping from Montana. No investors, no team, no retail markup. If you have a question about fitment or anything else, email me directly — hello@ridesaurus.com.
